UXC Connect Renews Major Workspace Management Contract

Contract Renewed with the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research Following Competitive Tender
Sydney, Australia – 22 October 2010 - UXC Connect, a leader in ICT services and integration solutions, today announced that it has retained its IT Outsourcing Services contract with the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR). UXC Connect retained the contract with DIISR following a competitive tender process.
The extension of this program will see UXC Connect provision DIISR with a workspace management solution covering five main areas; server management, security management, business application infrastructure support, communications support and SOE management.
DIISR required a solution provider that could deliver a plan for ongoing improvement, provide value for money, continue its journey to ITSM maturity and provide the flexibility and coverage to support its changing business unit structure. Most importantly, DIISR required a solid partnership with a service provider that could connect its IT solution with the Department’s business objectives.
